Welcome to the Iowa Family Gardening Homestead!

I'm so glad you have decided to join me on this journey where I share practical gardening tips, information about beekeeping, tips for raising a family on a budget, do it yourself projects, cooking, raising livestock, event planning and even highlighting young entrepreneurs.

Just blown away (in a good way!)

My business partner, Marla Ramaekers of Dibble and Bloom, and I have pleasantly surprised by people showing up and participating in our homesteading classes!

We've been maxed out at our first two classes, and we LOVE meeting new faces, and look forward to growing with you!

See our updated event calendar, and be on the lookout for a spring class calendar! Are you signed up?!

New Posts on the Blog!

I am getting back into the swing of things with posting two posts to the blog every week! Most of the content right now is focusing on things I am doing in the kitchen to preserve the harvest, and interviews with entrepreneurs, AND newly added Mom-preneurs (mom + entrepreneurs)!

This is the start of something good!
